The reporter learned from the press conference that China is the fastest-growing robot market in the world, with the largest number of newly installed robots each year, becoming an important support force for the steady development of the global robot industry. It is expected that by 2030, 14 million robots in China will be put into use. According to statistics, in 2021, the installation of industrial robots in China reached 243,300 units, accounting for half of the global total installation of industrial robots. The application of industrial robots in China has covered 60 major industries and 168 medium industries in the national economy. In 2021, the density of robots in China's manufacturing industry reached 322 units per 10,000 people, marking the first time that the density of robots has entered the top five globally. According to Tianyancha data, there are currently more than 483,000 robot related enterprises in China, of which over 128,000 were newly registered in 2022, with a growth rate of 36.9%.
